Running from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., this beloved event invites residents and visitors alike to discover the beauty and creativity flourishing in local urban gardens. A plant sale will also be taking place on Stratford Road with a variety of plants donated by Van Berkum Nursery.

To kick off the event, attendees are encouraged to gather at Bowden Park from 8:30-11 a.m. for a special pre-event gathering. Here, guests can buy tickets, pick up tour maps, and purchase coffee and Mama Jean pastries while mingling with fellow garden enthusiasts and listening to live music by Patrick Synan.

The Melrose Urban Garden Tour highlights the dedication and artistry of local gardeners who have transformed their outdoor spaces into personal sanctuaries. From lush pollinator gardens to meticulously designed vegetable plots, the tour offers inspiration for gardeners of all skill levels.

This beloved event supports the Melrose Farmers’ Market SNAP Benefit Match Program, providing local families and community members access to fresh produce and natural foods.
