The Melrose Farmers’ Market (MFM) is one of the longest running farmers’ markets in Massachusetts. From June to October, MFM provides residents of Melrose and neighboring communities with the weekly opportunity to buy and learn about the benefits of nutritious, locally grown foods. Open Thursdays from 2-7pm(2-6pm in October), the market has an average of 900-1200 visitors per week, including families, the elderly and SNAP recipients. The market builds and strengthens community through a number of regular programs, including weekly music, a Club Sprouts program engaging children with nutritious foods, and a forum for local nonprofits and businesses to engage with the community.
With your support we can further our reach, providing lasting educational and enriching programs for market-goers of all ages. Cooking demonstrations, family sing-a-longs, special market visitors and more are awaiting sponsorship.
The MFM is a 501(c)3 organization. Money can be contributed for general ongoing operations of the market or tagged for specific programs, including the Club Sprouts, cooking demonstrations, special events, or music programs. All donations are tax deductible.
You or your business can become a sponsor of our market or one of our programs through either a monetary or in-kind donation. The MFM publishes a website which lists the name of all donors.
