2019 Summer Market Season
The Melrose Farmers’ Market runs weekly from June through October from 2pm – 7pm from June 6 – Oct. 31 – closing at 6pm starting October in Bowden Park at the junction of Cedar Park, W. Emerson, and Vinton Streets, Melrose. Each week you can find fresh, local produce, fresh fish, fine meats, poultry, eggs, and maple syrup. Shoppers will also be able to purchase locally produced dips, spreads, sweet and savory preserves, baked goods, and other locally made items. Also expect fun events throughout the summer like, yoga and weekly musicians.
In addition to our Farms and Food vendors, each week we have up to 2 artisans and crafters, a personal care product, a local business and a non-profit.

Bagel Land – All natural N.Y style water boiled bagels and wholegrain breads, cinnamon bread
Boston Smoked Fish Co.– produces the highest quality smoked fish available using sustainably harvested fish, locally sourced ingredients, and all natural preparation. Hot Smoked Salmon, Haddock, Bluefish and Steelhead Trout, Cold Smoked Nova Lox, and Smoked Fish Patè’s.
Bread Shop – assorted breads with seasonal flavors located right next door in Wakefield
Deano’s Pasta-fourth generation local pasta makers in Somerville, MA making artisan noodles, raviolis, and sauces since 1947. Pastas and sauces are all natural, non-gmo, locally handcrafted and hand packed to assure the highest quality. CASH ONLY
Del Sur Emapanadas–Del Sur is a small factory of empanadas located in Lowell. Their empanadas are baked and made with all natural ingredients, to offer a healthy option that delight everybody at the table with a variety of flavors.
Dick’s Market Garden – fresh vegetables and fruits from Lunenberg.
Fabian’s European Pastries– right here in Melrose, making homemade Dutch and European pastries!
Fork on A Road-Vegetarian and vegan Market Day Meal Kits, inspired by the local harvest and Suman’s global pantry that include ingredients sourced direct from local producers and our market vendors. Plus her homemade spice blends, unique chutneys and snacks.
Oakdale Farm – Seventh generation farm, 200 acres in Rehoboth, bringing vegetables, fruit, and preserves.
Moonlight Farm– A small family farm committed to raising animals with the utmost humanity and respect, allowing them to live fulfilling, meaningful lives. They do not use hormones, antibiotics or steroids in their animals. Growing method is coined, “off ‘cides,” because they don’t use any pesticides, herbicides or fungicides on their veggies. You can find off ‘Cides (no spray) Veggies, Pasture-Raised Eggs, Grass Fed Beef,* Pasture Raised, non-GMO Pork,* Chicken* and Turkey* -* indicates new for 2019!
Popover Lady – Popovers, fruit pies, scones and breads
Roberto’s Seafood – fresh fish picked up that morning and sold to you at a great price. Another market favorite! Literally the freshest fish!
Shady Pine Farm – grass fed beef pork lamb chicken turkey and eggs
Suzie’s (starting 7/27) – fresh vegetables, fresh cut flowers, honey, and jams

Ackermann Maple Farm – Maple syrup, maple cream, maple sugar, maple candy, maple cotton candy.
Black Earth Compost-Offer residential curb side pickup, and commercial pickups to divert your compostable waste for a landfill, and brought to a local farm where it naturally breaks down into reusable, rich, black compost.
Carolyn’s Farm Kitchen– A small family business based out of Haverhill, MA producing original, seasonal, farm-inspired products. Products are handmade in small batches using all-natural, non-gmo ingredients and incorporate local farm fruits which are celebrated throughout the growing seasons!
Fixx Chocolates-Handmade from Salem, MA. Fixx Chocolates makes chocolate bars and other confections similar to those you grew up with and using natural ingredients. You can also find their chocolates at Buckalew’s!
GuacEstrada-Homemade guacamole that is made with Guatemalan love! It’s different than the traditional Mexican flavor, as they don’t use cilantro!
Hannah’s Herbals-A practicing herbalist in West Newbury, MA offering a line of natural body care products and herbal teas. Hannah’s Herbals products are original recipes that have developed and been refined over many years of use. Hand-craft products in small batches to ensure freshness. Koshari Mama, LLC-a vegan Egyptian street food made from lentils, rice, pasta and topped with crunchy fried onions, chickpeas and different tomato garlic sauces
Laszlo Family Farm – Sitizen pet products for cats and dogs
Mr. Tamole-Tamales/elotes/charro beans. A market favorite!
Muddy River Herbals-Herb-infused honeys, tea blends, salves, tinctures, scrubs, fresh herbs, botanical arrangements (wreaths and dried bouquets), and other herbal goodies.
Recreo Coffee & Roasterie-Dedicated to bringing you premium Nicaraguan coffee while practicing social and environmental stewardship. Single origin coffee is grown at their family farm in Jinotega, Nicaragua. They harvest and produce their coffee with the highest of standards. Rainforest Alliance Certified, and practice direct trade importation and practice ethical and environmental responsibility. They will be selling locally roasted coffee beans every other week. Seven Hills Pasta Co. – Organic pasta made right here in Melrose and their vegetable dips and spreads grown on their farm in Rutland.
Smith’s Country Cheese-Mass made Gouda, Havarti, and Cheddar cheeses. A market favorite and here once a month!
Sweet Spot Bakery- Local Peanut free bakery! Offering their classic products as well as gluten free items. Chocolate ganache cake slices and other tempting sweets.
Sweet Lydia’s– Sweet Lydia’s is a small batch facility that creates handcrafted confections with unique flavor profiles from local ingredients.
