During COVID- You can still purchase from these Vendors

This is a reminder that our March 29 market is CLOSED because of COVID-19. However, several of our vendors are offering farm fresh deliveries to Melrose. We want to encourage you to support these small local business as they try to weather this difficult time. I’m listing what we currently know is available and how you can place an order. I’m sure more options are available, and I will get those out to you as soon as possible.

Oakdale Farm is sending out an order form on Sunday to see who wants a FRIDAY veggie delivery. So far this is what’s available: root vegetables and greens like spinach, salad mix, broccoli.  The deliveries will be on Fridays. Roberto’s Seafood will have their Saturday morning fresh fish available to you at the Cedar Park parking lot (where the outdoor market is during the summer) from 1pm-3pm.  Pre-ordering is available through their Facebook Messenger or by contacting Bob at robsfd24@outlook.com or 617.529.5701.

The Bread Shop in Wakefield is still baking.The Bread Shop will be OPEN for take-out and delivery ONLY. Their temporary hours through April 7th are: Tuesday- Sunday 8am-2pm. For delivery or curbside pick-up please call at 781-246-1246.

Bagel Land of Winchester(something sweet without the wheat) is offering an essential box off gluten free items to families in need free of charge during this difficult time and will have another two week supply for families that can use on hand. Please go to their website for more info, and please share to those who could utilize this generous offer from Bagel Land. You also have the ability to order for yourself and donate an order to someone in need. 

Hannah’s Herbals: Several sale items to her online store: “my tea blends are on sale $2 off per jar (approximately 15% off) and I’ve got all of the Aura Cacia organic essential oils on sale 10% off. Sale is valid until I sell out of these items. I’ve also added a pick up option for people who want to save on shipping (and get out of the house and take a drive). All of my products are stored in a closed cabinet in my office which is only accessible to me. I’m washing my hands and spraying an all natural disinfectant (ethanol alcohol and essential oils that are safe for kids) on orders prior to shipping as an added safety measure.”

Sunshine and Sweets Bakery Melrose baker is also baking and delivering to you.

Serenity Sage– Smug sticks, candles and more. Locally made in Melrose, delivered to you.

Moonlight Farm:  Is delivering their CSA meats to Melrose. The next delivery is this Thursday!   Plus they are offering their Meat CSA: $480 for 6 months. July-December. 10 lbs pork, beef and chicken once a month. Poultry CSA: $480 for 6 months. July-December. 8 lbs chicken and turkey once a month INCLUDES 2 dozen eggs. All CSA members get 20% discount on additional purchases. Meghan told me they have a TON of eggs!! $5/dozen.
