Melrose Farmers’ Market to Host Indoor Markets at the Melrose Family YMCA

The Melrose Farmers’ Market is offering three  indoor Pop-Up markets throughout the winter in various locations around Melrose. The first two markets are generously hosted by the Melrose Family YMCA in the gymnasium on Sundays, February 9 and March 29, 2020 from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. Handicap and stroller entrance is accessible through the backdoors of the gymnasium. As part of the Healthy Melrose Family Wellness & Fitness event’s the Farmers’ Market is popping-up on May 9, 10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m., where you can pick up your sustainable produce, meats, fish and more in addition to participating in a day of wellness, health, fitness and nutrition. 

As always, the market will offer a wonderful array of local winter produce, sustainably raised meat, poultry, eggs, and cheese, fresh fish, preserves, teas, spice blends, wine, and a delicious assortment of fresh baked goods. A selection of artisan vendors offering soaps, herbal products, hand crafted jewelry and more will also be attending.

The market accepts SNAP and HIP benefits (HIP for February only). For the indoor market, SNAP match up to $10 is generously funded by Melrose Bank, Eastern Bank, and Northern Bank. In addition, all vendors will be accepting credit cards, so no need to purchase Market Bucks at the Market Table. The vendors will however honor Market Bucks as cash if you have them leftover from the summer market.
