It’s all about the apples this week. Dick’s Market is bringing more than twelve varieties of apples including the Melrose Apple. A cross of the Jonathon and Red Delicious apple, Melrose apples are perfect for using in pies. Not into peeling and coring the apples yourself? The Popover lady will be bringing some amazing home made apple pies.
Fall is a great time to shop at the market, we will also have have sweet potatoes, parsnips, winter squash, raspberries, heirloom tomatoes, regular tomatoes and herbs including sage, thyme, rosemary, and oregano.
Here’s the schedule:
2 p.m. Market opens, shop for wholesome fruits, vegetables, cheese, meats, fish, pasta, honey, eggs and more and support your Melrose community.
4 – 6 p.m. Live music by Dylan Cohen. Dylan is only 12 years old, but he plays the music of an old soul. He keeps the music grooving, charming, and fun!
6 p.m. Market closes
