I come back to the same recipes again and again this time of year.
One of my all-time favorites is massaged kale salad. It is specifically meant for June because of the strawberries, but is versatile enough to use any time of year, substituting the current fruit in season. You can get the honey from The Roasted Granola.
Another recipe that specifically screams of June is spinach and garlic scape pesto. Any of the Asian greens will do for spinach and gives it a fun spiciness to it.
For the more adventurous, bluefish pate is a Friday night favorite. Now with Foxboro Cheese at our market, I use their fromage blanc in place of the cream cheese. This makes is mild, smooth, and very delicious.
Finally, did you get the 4 green specials from Dick’s and chose dill like I did. Go for the tzatziki with their English cucumbers and Greek yogurt from The Roasted Granola.
