We are counting down the days until the first outdoor farmers’ market on June 9. In the mean time, we’ve been busy meeting new farmers, booking musicians and artisans, recruiting volunteers (sign-up here if you can help out) and planning our first ever Urban Farms Tour, right here in Melrose.
We were excited to hear Bowden Park will be looking extra good for our opening thanks to the help of local Girl Scouts. More than 30 Girl Scouts came out last weekend to clean up the park and plant flowers.
