A Guest Bartending Night on Tuesday, May 21, 7-10pm, at Absolutely Fabulous, 454 Main St., Melrose will be held as a fundraiser for the farmers market. This is a great way to meet some of the people that help put on the farmers market while helping to support it, including Cindy Chabot, Laura DiMattia, Maureen Elia, Deb Giso and Mary Beth Margolis.
A portion of the proceeds of the evening will go to supporting events that we will have at the market this year as well as some equipment.
A couple of the events we are planning this year include cooking demonstrations and a Thanksgiving indoor market at Memorial Hall. There will be live music, hors d’oeuvres, a raffle gift basket from our farms, and a lot of fun all night!
